Father Ted Cross Stitch

I posted this on the wiki, but figured I would post it here too? This is my first completed cross stitch! It is an homage to the britcom "Father Ted." Father Jack, a priest from the show, drinks incessantly and only shouts out the words above. He's great. Hopefully, this is not too offensive :)

come into my house, I want to hurt you

Wow. You can tell I smoke a lot. My husband claims this is a cleaned up version of the photo. Shudder to think. This is my most complicated piece to date, though. The text is taken from a postcard I got when I lived in NYC. It's based on some wall graffiti photographed on an apartment building, and the bunnies , flowers, etc. are from a book detailing several cross stitch borders, whichI bough at Pearl Art Supplies. Hoping it is open source, cause I can't locate it or recall the name right now. Oh...and the hand in the photo belongs to Justin Kumpf. If you would like to use it for inspiration, that's cool. But it is currently not for sale.

Robot I made for Jim

Ok - so I made this robot for Amy's husband Jim last spring. He likes robots and stabbing things so I combined. I borrowed the "don't make me cut you" from something I saw on Subversive Cross Stitch.com and i borrowed the robot from something else i saw online. Good times.

Questions? Comments? Meth-Inspired Brainstorms?

Welcome Bitches!

Hi ladies,

Just set this up so that we would have a non-email based forum to discuss upcoming subversive cross stitch matters of utmost importance. If we decide later that we want to keep the blog and make it fully awesome, totally cool by me. I'm posting Rachel's priceless subversive cross stitch links for the purpose of perusal and possible preparation. Also...have I mentioned that I love alliteration?
